We regret to inform you sincerely that we have announce the cancellation of the 2nd International Forum "Asfen.Forum, New Generation-2024," originally scheduled for June 6-7, 2024, in Almaty, hosted by the S.D. Asfendiyarov Kazakh National Medical University. This decision stems from the ongoing flooding situation affecting several regions of Kazakhstan.The 2nd International Forum "Asfen.Forum, New Generation-2025" will instead be held in June 2025, marking the 95th anniversary of S.D. Asfendiyarov Kazakh National Medical University.
Following President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev's recommendations, stressing the importance of prudent budget management and the avoidance of large-scale gatherings, we are aligning with national efforts to curtail expenses. The President has underscored the need to reassess major international events to reduce costs. In light of this, we view our decision to economize while maintaining scientific engagement as essential and timely.
We recognize the significance of your anticipated participation in this event, and we want to emphasize our continued support for the scientific community. Abstract submissions are still being accepted, and we will ensure their inclusion in the abstract collection. This enables young scientists to share their research with colleagues from diverse backgrounds, despite the prevailing circumstances
