Conducting the Special Examination
(Psychometric Testing) for Applicants to
S.D. Asfendiyarov Kazakh National Medical University

Admission to the educational programs in the field of Healthcare: Nursing, Medicine, Dentistry, Pediatrics, Preventive Medicine, and Clinical Psychology is carried out taking into account the results of the special examination (psychometric testing), which can be taken at any medical university in the Republic of Kazakhstan.

Psychometric testing is assessed as “PASS” or “FAIL”. Based on the results of psychometric testing, applicants receive an EXTRACT FROM THE ADMISSION RECORD for submission to medical universities regardless of where the special examination was taken.

Psychometric testing is conducted in ONLINE and OFFLINE formats from June 20 to August 20, 2026.

1. Online Psychometric Testing

(daily from 09:00 to 18:00, except Saturdays and Sundays) requires the following:

1. Read the instructions for taking the psychometric test;
2. Obtain a digital signature (EDS) via eGov.kz
3. Register for psychometric testing using the following link: Register
4. Complete the test. The test consists of two stages. After completion, download the test result.

2. Offline Psychometric Testing

The applicant must:

1. Arrive at the university according to the schedule 30 minutes before the start of testing;
2. Have an identity card and a valid EDS key.
